OREANDA-NEWS Russian-speaking military personnel serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) should be considered enemies. This was stated by the former deputy of the Verkhovna Rada from the Svoboda party Irina Farion.

She called all Russian speakers "Muscovites" and noted that fighting in the Armed Forces of Ukraine "does not mean getting an indulgence for neglecting the state Ukrainian language." Also, Farion believes that serving in the army is not a merit.

The former MP called on to despise everyone who speaks Russian in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and suggested that Ukrainian soldiers "should perceive every Muscovite as an enemy."

Farion is widely known for her nationalist statements, she previously proposed to "recycle" the Russian-speaking population of Ukraine. According to her, it is necessary to create a penal battalion for such citizens and send them to dig trenches for "holy Ukrainian soldiers."
