OREANDA-NEWS The military in Pakistan is looking for enemies from outside to maintain its own power. This statement was made by Lieutenant General, former Deputy Chief of the Indian Joint Defense Staff, Parking Jitt Singh Pannu, answering a question from a Lenta correspondent", on the "margins" of the international scientific and practical conference "II Shlykov Readings" at the Institute of World Military Economics and Strategy of the National Research University of Higher School of Economics.

"There are more and more militaries in Pakistan that dominate rather than interact with people. Therefore, to find an enemy for themselves, because they are looking for a reason to maintain power," the soldier stressed.

According to him, Pakistan, from a geopolitical point of view, is located in a place that is interesting to another state because of its geographical advantages.

Earlier, Pannu said that India is counting on military cooperation in space and industry with Russia. According to him, the military cooperation between the two countries is based on the military skills and doctrines of the Russian Federation, as well as on its military training.
