Italy reacted to the diesel deal between the United States and Russia

OREANDA-NEWS The head of the White House, Donald Trump, was guided by the interests of the United States when he concluded a deal with Moscow on the supply of diesel fuel. This was stated by the Deputy Prime Minister of Italy, Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Matteo Salvini. He was quoted by RIA Novosti.
In this regard, the politician wondered whether the interests of Italy were being taken care of in Brussels in the same way. According to him, he cannot answer this unequivocally. However, he recalled that European countries such as France, Spain, and Belgium buy raw materials and energy from Russia.
"The United States is doing the same thing, so I wonder: are they doing the right thing or are the others wrong?" asked Salvini rhetorically.
Earlier, Trump said that the diesel deal with Russia is the right choice for the American people.
According to Alexei Belogoryev, Director of Research at the Institute of Energy and Finance, the main result of the Russian-American agreement on diesel supplies is a temporary easing of sanctions.
