OREANDA-NEWS  Kazakhstan will introduce an investor visa with the possibility of obtaining a residence permit (residence permit). This is reported by the country's Foreign Ministry.

To apply for a golden visa, you will need to invest at least 300 thousand dollars in the authorized capital of local companies or equity securities. The application can be submitted remotely. If desired, a foreign citizen receives a residence permit of the country for ten years. The rules will take effect in 10 days.

In March, U.S. Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnik said that the sale of so-called "golden visas", which provide their holder with a residence permit in the country, brought the U.S. budget five billion dollars in just one day.

In February, Izvestia, citing data from the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia obtained from the Ministry of Internal Affairs, noted that the results of the golden visa program launched in January 2023 in the Russian Federation remain extremely modest.
