OREANDA-NEWS  President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko invited Ukrainians to come to the republic. His words were reported by the BelTA news agency during a visit to the Mozyr district located near the border with Ukraine.

"We are open. Please come, Ukrainians. We will be happy to welcome you. We will provide your families and your children with the same life as Belarusians in terms of education and healthcare," Lukashenko said.

The Belarusian president also revealed the fate of some migrants from Ukraine to Belarus. According to him, they work in the Gomel region, and these people are very hardworking and understanding Belarusians.

Earlier, Artyom Barynkin, Associate Professor of the Department of European Studies at the Faculty of International Relations of St. Petersburg State University, in an interview with Lenta.<url> reported that Lukashenko plays an important role in resolving the conflict in Ukraine by providing a diplomatic dialogue. Active participation in the peace process, the expert notes, can strengthen the role of Belarus in the international arena. And this, in turn, will complement the normalization of the Belarusian-American dialogue, which is already beginning to recover.
