OREANDA-NEWS  President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has signed a law that will ratify the agreement with Russia on gas prices, RIA Novosti reports.

According to the decree of December 30, the Protocol on amendments to the agreement between Belarus and Russia on the procedure for setting prices (tariffs) for the supply of natural gas to the republic, as well as the transportation of the resource through gas pipelines located on its territory, is being ratified.

The Protocol on amendments to the agreement between the Russian and Belarusian governments on the terms of purchase and sale of shares and further Activities of JSC Beltransgaz is also subject to ratification.

Earlier, the State Secretary of the Security Council of Belarus, Alexander Volfovich, said that the country's leadership allows the buildup of a joint grouping of troops with the Russian Federation. According to him, Moscow and Minsk can make an appropriate decision "depending on the dynamics of the situation."
