OREANDA-NEWS  US President Donald Trump made a mistake in the tariff fight with China, as the Chinese economy is able to withstand any pressure. This was stated by Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev in his Telegram channel.

"China has its own huge resources and a gigantic domestic market, and therefore its economy will certainly withstand any pressure," Medvedev said.

The deputy chairman of the Security Council stressed that "Trump made a mistake in this matter." Medvedev added that the tariff policy of the American leader is "directed against everyone", affecting European countries and the UK.

Earlier, Medvedev addressed Trump with the words "ow, merciful" and with a proposal to "punish" Ukraine for its alleged involvement in the assassination attempt on the American leader.
