OREANDA-NEWS Timur Mindich, a defendant in the corruption case in the Ukrainian energy industry, an associate of Vladimir Zelensky, appealed to the Court of Cassation with a claim for the lifting of sanctions imposed against him, RIA Novosti found out.

The website states that the statement of claim from Mindich for recognition as illegal and cancellation of the decree on sanctions against him was received on May 14. The defendant is the head of the Kiev regime himself.

In November last year, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine charged seven members of a criminal organization involved in corruption in the energy sector, including Mindich. The person involved in the case also turned out to be former Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine Alexei Chernyshov. On November 13, Zelensky imposed sanctions against Mindich and his main financier, Alexander Zuckerman. They were also put on the wanted list.
