OREANDA-NEWS   The National Aeronautics and Space Administration of the United States (NASA) reported that delays in the development of spacesuits by Axiom Space jeopardize the mission to land on the Moon in 2028. RIA Novosti writes about this with reference to the department's report.

According to experts, NASA has set unrealistic goals, stating that it wants to demonstrate lunar and microgravity suits in 2025-2026.

"Both types of spacesuits are at least one and a half years behind schedule, as Axiom is currently planning to demonstrate spacesuits by the end of 2027," the experts emphasized.

They estimated that the demonstration of ready—made spacesuits could be delayed until 2031.

NASA plans to send its astronauts to the moon by 2028.
