OREANDA-NEWS  NASA plans to send ships to the moon almost every month in 2027, said the head of the American space agency, Jared Isaacman. His words are reported by TASS.

"Starting in 2027, the world will be able to observe robotic landings [on the moon] almost monthly, while we are building a lunar base at the South Pole," said the head.

In April, during a hearing before the United States Senate Appropriations Committee, Isaacman said that the US space program needs to be transformed in order not to cede leadership in space to China.

In the same month, the head said that the Artemis II manned lunar mission was completed successfully, and the United States plans to continue flights to the Moon until it lands on its surface in 2028.
