Negotiations between Russia and Ukraine will remain bilateral, Ushakov said

OREANDA-NEWS The talks in Istanbul between Russia and Ukraine will remain bilateral, Russian Presidential aide Yuri Ushakov said.
On Thursday, Russian President Vladimir Putin and American leader Donald Trump had a telephone conversation.
"We proceed from the fact, and I think the American side understands this perfectly well, that the agreements will be in the nature of bilateral negotiations between representatives of Russia and Ukraine," Ushakov told reporters.
Russia and Ukraine have held two rounds of direct talks. The meetings were held in Istanbul. The result was a prisoner exchange. The Russian Federation also handed over the bodies of the dead servicemen to the Kiev regime. In addition, the parties exchanged draft memoranda on conflict resolution.
