OREANDA-NEWS   Russia continues to be Armenia's main security partner, and the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) remains the main security system. This was stated by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. "I want to emphasize that in the field of security, our main partner is Russia, with which we have agreements on a joint grouping of troops and a joint air defense system," he said.

He also noted that the CSTO is the main security system for Armenia, and stressed that the organization "must remain so."

Earlier it was reported that Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu had a telephone conversation with his Armenian counterpart Vagharshak Harutyunyan.
