OREANDA-NEWS  Poland took offense at Lithuania over the incident with the Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), noting that Vilnius' accusations against them are groundless, Polsat News channel writes.

The Lithuanian side stated that the drone, which violated the airspace and crashed in the north of the country on October 18, flew from Poland and was carrying explosives.

However, a representative of the Polish Ministry of National Defense, Janusz Seymei, said that "there is no confirmation (according to our radar systems) of the border crossing from Poland to Lithuania in the Lithuanian direction," the article says.

Earlier, Lithuania wanted to get NATO permission to shoot down UAVs without visual contact.
