OREANDA-NEWS  Speaking about the EU sanctions related to the supply of toilet bowls, Russian President Vladimir Putin joked that such restrictions would cost Brussels dearly. This is reported by RIA Novosti.

Earlier on Thursday, October 23, the Official Journal of the European Union (EU) published information about the ban on the supply of sanitary ware to Russia, including toilets and bidets. In addition, flowers, moss and toys with a motor were among the categories of goods to which the EU extended anti-Russian sanctions.

Speaking about the restrictions in the energy sector, the head of state admitted "certain losses," stressing that the sanctions would not significantly affect Russia's economic well-being.
