Earlier on Monday, the Russian Foreign Ministry recommended that Russian citizens refrain from visiting Israel and the Palestinian territories, and those who are already there should exercise maximum caution and maintain contacts with representatives of diplomatic and consular institutions of the Russian Federation.

The press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov stated that the Russian embassies in Israel and Palestine do not yet have information about the injured Russians as a result of the conflict between Israel and the Hamas movement.

"As far as we know, our embassies are making very energetic efforts on the spot, diplomats are working around the clock. So far, our embassies do not have any information about the injured Russians," Peskov told reporters on Monday.
