Romania bought 18 fighter jets from the Netherlands for one euro

OREANDA-NEWS Romania and the Netherlands signed an intergovernmental contract in Bucharest on the transfer of F-16 Fighting Falcon fighter jets, which will become the property of Romania at a symbolic price of one euro. This was reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the Romanian Ministry of National Defense.
Romania is known to have bought 18 fighter jets from the Netherlands at a price of one euro. Romania will pay the value added tax of 21 million euros.
"The F-16 Fighter Pilot Training Center has turned Romania into a European hub for all countries that have or will have such aircraft," said Romanian Defense Minister Jonuc Mostianu.
Earlier, an F-16 with an unusual set of weapons was spotted in Ukraine. It includes precision bombs, not just air-to-air missiles
