OREANDA-NEWS  After complaints from users about the work of Telegram, Roskomnadzor spoke about restrictions on the messenger. The agency's comment is published by RIA Novosti.

"There are currently no new restrictions applied to this service," Roskomnadzor said.

On December 11 and 12, a number of Telegram channels wrote about alleged problems with the messenger in Russia. Fault detector "Failure.RF" recorded more than one thousand complaints about the service in two days. Most of the crash reports came from Moscow, St. Petersburg, and Krasnodar Krai.

Earlier it became known that residents of St. Petersburg complained about failures in the operation of the mobile Internet. The problem was observed with several telecom operators, and the causes of the problems were not specified.

On December 5, an Internet outage was reported worldwide. The problems were related to problems with the Cloudflare hosting provider, whose services are used by many large Internet resources.
