"The Rosselkhoznadzor has asked the Iranian Plant Protection Organization to suspend the certification of flowers for export to Russia," the report says.
The ministry noted that in 2026, the volume of supplies from the Islamic Republic significantly exceeded the figures for the same period last year. Iran was indicated as the country of origin in the documents. At the same time, in terms of the external characteristics of the products and the packaging features, it is identical to the one that was supplied from Armenia. Whereas flower deliveries from Armenia to Russia have been prohibited since May 22.
