OREANDA-NEWS Oil production in the Ural Federal District decreased in the first quarter of this year due to difficulties with maritime exports, which is associated with unscheduled infrastructure repairs and other logistical problems. This is stated in the April report "Regional Economy" of the Bank of Russia, which was compiled based on the results of a regular survey of enterprises.

The respondents noted an improvement in the market conditions in terms of rising prices, reducing discounts and reducing the volume of shipments already shipped to tankers that were at sea in search of buyers. However, the prospects for a further increase in physical exports are questionable, and companies are not adjusting their plans.

Earlier it was reported that as of Tuesday, April 14, oil exports from Novorossiysk are limited, as the two largest berths have not resumed operation after the drone attack on the night of April 6.
