OREANDA-NEWS  The South Korean government has lifted all covid restrictions, as well as changed some formalities in the customs declaration, ATOR reports.

According to the Moscow representative office of the National Tourism Organization of Korea (NOTK), since June 1, the mandatory seven-day quarantine for patients with coronavirus has been replaced by a five-day one and is advisory in nature. Also, you no longer need to wear masks in medical institutions and pharmacies.

The NOTK clarifies that the mandatory filling out of the customs declaration for those staying from abroad has been canceled. When entering Korea, passengers who do not have the goods to be declared with them can immediately go to the green corridor (Nothing to Declare).

But if a tourist has things with him that exceed the duty-free import limit, or foreign currency in the amount of more than 10 thousand US dollars, he still needs to fill out a paper declaration form and use the red corridor at the entrance.

In addition, from July of this year, travelers will be able to declare and pay for goods subject to duty using a QR code through the mobile application "Customs Declaration of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Travelers" (Korea Customs Declaration for Travelers).

Programs to South Korea with departure from Moscow are now offered by Russian tour operators. A visa is not needed, but since there is no direct air connection with this country yet, a flight with connections.
