OREANDA-NEWS The idea of NATO to introduce a peacekeeping contingent on the territory of Ukraine would be a rash and extremely dangerous decision, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said. This is stated in the TASS material.

He noted that "any possible contact of our military with the NATO military can lead to understandably difficult and irreparable consequences."

Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki said that a proposal to send NATO peacekeepers to Ukraine will be presented at the next NATO summit. However, according to White House spokeswoman Jen Psaki, Washington is not going to send troops to Ukraine.

On March 3, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine called on the UN and other international organizations to send a peacekeeping contingent to the country to stop the Russian special operation.
