OREANDA-NEWS  The Arbitration Court of the Moscow District on Thursday will consider the cassation appeal of the Belgian Euroclear Bank against the judicial acts of the Russian arbitration courts of two instances, which, according to the claim of the Bank of Russia, recovered about 200 billion euros in damages from it.

On May 15, the Moscow Arbitration Court fully satisfied the claim of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation against Euroclear, recovering losses in seven currencies from the defendant totaling about 200 billion euros. In July, the Ninth Arbitration Court of Appeal rejected Euroclear Bank's appeal against this decision, and it entered into force.
