OREANDA-NEWS  The increase in reserves in Russia in the first half of the year amounted to 45 million tons of oil and condensate, as well as 155.5 billion cubic meters of gas, and full reproduction is expected by the end of the year, Alexander Kozlov, head of the Ministry of Natural Resources of the Russian Federation, said in an interview with RIA Novosti on the eve of the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF).

"There are the results of the first half of the year for hydrocarbons. The increase in reserves of industrial categories based on the results of geological exploration by subsurface users amounted to 45 million tons for liquid hydrocarbons (oil+condensate) and 155.5 billion cubic meters for gas. By the end of the year, full reproduction of reserves is expected," he said.

Production of oil with condensate in Russia in 2025 decreased by 0.9%, to 511.5 million tons, natural and associated petroleum gas decreased by 3%, to 663.3 billion cubic meters, according to the materials of the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation.
