The number of 5G base stations in China reached 4.76 million by the end of October

OREANDA-NEWS The number of base stations of the new generation of 5G communication networks in China reached almost 4.76 million at the end of October, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology reported.
Thus, since the beginning of this year, this number has increased by about 507 thousand. Their share in the total number of mobile base stations is 37%.
The number of 5G subscribers across the country has increased by 170 million this year to 1.18 billion people, accounting for 64.7% of the total number of mobile users.
Revenue of the telecommunications industry in China in January-October increased by 0.9% compared to the same period last year, to 1.46 trillion yuan ($207 billion).
