OREANDA-NEWS  The number of specialties for which you can get a preferential educational loan will decrease in the admission campaign of 2026, said Valery Falkov, head of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation.

"The number of specialties for which you can take (a preferential educational loan - ed.) will decrease, taking into account the priorities that exist in the economy," Falkov told IS Vesti.

He noted that this year the adjustment was made taking into account personnel needs in such areas as healthcare, education and the engineering and technical block related to ensuring technological leadership and sovereignty.
