OREANDA-NEWS The White House has not yet been able to announce a possible meeting place between US President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin. This was stated by Mike Waltz, adviser to the American leader on national security, RIA Novosti reports.

He also refused to talk about progress in the negotiations between the parties on the Ukrainian conflict. "It's amazing that half the world is trying to help President Trump end this war. We're getting all kinds of feedback, but I don't have anything to confirm or disclose today," Waltz said.

Earlier, Trump said that things were going "very well" regarding contacts with Russian President and Chinese leader Xi Jinping.

Prior to that, Putin announced the need for a meeting with Trump. He noted that they need to talk calmly in all areas of interest to the two countries.
