OREANDA-NEWS A Russian travel blogger has had her expensive Tiffany jewelry stolen from a hotel room in China. She told about this on her Instagram page (a social network banned in Russia; owned by Meta, a recognized extremist organization and banned in the Russian Federation).
According to the author of the video, the products were lying on the bedside table before cleaning, and immediately after they were not there. The hotel staff promised to "search", but did not call the police or search the employee who cleaned the room. The Russian woman said that the hotel was covering for the robber.
In the comments, users suggested that the tourist herself had forgotten her jewelry somewhere, while others noted that it was irresponsible to leave expensive items unattended on the bedside table. "Turn on your head on vacation too, and there will be no such incidents," "After all, I'm doing the right thing by flying on vacation without jewelry," "A week ago, money was stolen from me in Dubai, too," the users wrote.
Earlier, a thief broke into a Russian tourist's room in a Thai hotel and stole more than 100,000 baht (about 270 thousand rubles) in cash from his suitcase. The victim, Russian Vladimir T., told the police that the theft occurred on February 12 at a South Pattaya hotel while he was in his room.
