OREANDA-NEWS  US President Donald Trump said he was disappointed with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin on the issue of a peaceful settlement of the conflict in Ukraine. He is quoted by RIA Novosti.

According to Trump, the United States has already managed to resolve seven wars, but he considered resolving the Ukrainian conflict to be the "easiest option" because of his personal relationship with Putin.

"Putin let me down. I really let you down," admitted the owner of the White House.

Earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that the Trump administration wants to remove the topic of Ukraine from the agenda in order to establish ties with Russia.
