OREANDA-NEWS In Turkey, hoteliers have decided to attract Russian tourists with discounts of up to 20 percent on accommodation amid high competition in the market. This was told to RIA Novosti by a tour operator from Bodrum, a member of the Association of Tour Operators of Turkey (TÜRSAB) Akin Beke.

He explained that hotels try to maintain a high workload throughout the season and focus specifically on Russian tourists, as they are the most valuable for the Turkish tourism industry.

Earlier it was reported that Turkish hotels lowered prices for Russian tourists in the summer, discounts reached 20 percent. This is due to the low demand for holidays in Turkey from Europeans in the current season.
