OREANDA-NEWS  The Aydin City Prosecutor's office launched an investigation after the publication of the Denge newspaper under the headline "Erdogan is dead." This is reported by Odatv.

The message was posted on August 25, but the name of the deceased was not specified. Later it became known that this was not about Turkish President Recep Erdogan, but about a woman named Gulshen Erdogan.

The agency considered the publication to be "misleading the public" and opened a criminal case. Arrest warrants have been issued against the editor of the publication, the head of his office and the author of the material.

Earlier in the UK, the reasons for the news about the "death" of King Charles III were revealed — an employee of the radio station Radio Caroline launched the news "out of curiosity" and ran away from his workplace. The offender was reprimanded.
