OREANDA-NEWS Two earthquakes of magnitude 6.0 and 5.7 occurred off the coast of Kamchatka, the Kamchatka branch of the Federal Research Center of the Unified Geophysical Service of the Russian Academy of Sciences reported.

"Distance from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky: 210 kilometers. Depth: 64.6 kilometers. Magnitude: 6.0," the scientists shared the monitoring data in their Telegram channel.

Six minutes later, the research center reported another earthquake that occurred 206 kilometers from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky with a magnitude of 5.7 at a depth of 72 kilometers.
