OREANDA-NEWS  Venezuelan coffee producers plan to increase coffee supplies to Russia, Roman Frolenko, head of the Russian-Venezuelan Chamber of Commerce, told RIA Novosti.

"Venezuelan coffee is simply not promoted, Colombian coffee is promoted, which they buy in Venezuela and make at home. But in fact, Venezuelan coffee is very high quality and good, " he said in an interview with the agency.

When asked if the Venezuelans plan to increase coffee supplies to Russia, Frolenko answered in the affirmative. "Yes, they are going to," he said.

Venezuelan Agriculture Minister Wilmar Castro said in December that he considered the supply of tropical fruits to Russia promising: mangoes, bananas, watermelons, pineapples, melons, passion fruit, as well as coffee and cocoa.
