Vladimir Zelensky confused the name of the President of Poland

OREANDA-NEWS Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky confused the name of Polish President Karol Nawrocki and called him Karl at a press conference during the visit of the Ukrainian delegation to Poland. RIA Novosti reports about Zelensky's mistake.
"We talked about this with Karl today," Zelensky said.
The publication says that Karl and Karol are different forms of the same name, the main difference between which is in the linguistic traditions of transliteration and adaptation. In Eastern European countries, the Carol form is often found.
Earlier, Vladimir Zelensky called the decision of the European Union (EU) to allocate 90 billion to Ukraine an important victory. He also considered such a decision by the EU to be a signal to Russia about the senselessness of the war, since Kiev is supported financially.
