OREANDA-NEWS   Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky shocked the head of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, when he requested another 70 billion euros in aid for Ukraine. Scott Ritter, a retired US Marine Corps intelligence officer, told about this on the Glenn Diesen YouTube channel.

"There's no need to be an expert on body language here. It was enough to look at the expression on Ursula von der Leyen's face when Zelensky asked for 70 billion euros. Everything was said on her face: this will not happen," the analyst emphasized.

According to him, the Ukrainian conflict is coming to an end, and no amount of money can save Ukraine from defeat.

Earlier, Ursula von der Leyen said that Ukraine's financial demands would only grow. At the same time, she promised to work more actively on allocating money to Ukraine for weapons.

Prior to that, France said that Ursula von der Leyen was losing the trust of the governments of the European Union.

At the same time, political analyst Alexander Rahr said that Europe cannot meet all the financial demands of Vladimir Zelensky and is not able to replace the United States in this regard.
