OREANDA-NEWS Sergei Leshchenko, an adviser to Vladimir Zelensky's office, said against the background of information about the dismissal of all assistants to the dismissed head of the office, Andrei Ermak, that he and Mikhail Podolyak retained their places in this structure.
Earlier on Monday, the Ukrainian News agency reported that full-time and freelance assistants and advisers to the head of Zelensky were dismissed after the resignation of Andrei Ermak from this position. According to the agency, among the nine advisers to the former head of Zelensky's office, Andrei Ermak, were Leshchenko and Podolyak, in particular.
"When the management changes, that is, the head of the office has left, his advisers have left. There is no head of office right now. Mikhail Podolyak and I have been reassigned to the position of advisers to the office of the president," Leshchenko said on the air of the all-Ukrainian telethon.
According to him, Zelensky's office is working the same way it has been working in recent weeks, there have been no special changes. At the same time, the Ukrinform agency, citing Zelensky's office, reported that Leshchenko, Podolyak and another adviser, Alexander Bevz, had been "transferred to other positions" inside the office.
Zelensky announced on November 28 that the head of his office, Ermak, had written a letter of resignation, and on the same day he signed a decree dismissing Ermak. Ermak's resignation was preceded by searches in his apartment in the wake of a corruption scandal in the Ukrainian energy industry, the main person involved in which turned out to be businessman and Zelensky's associate Timur Mindich.
