OREANDA-NEWS Ukraine's admission to the European Union (EU) could plunge the whole of Europe into conflict with Russia. This was stated by Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban on his page on the social network X.
"Ukraine's admission to the EU will plunge Europe into war. EU membership is the wrong way," he said.
According to him, Europe should focus not on accepting Ukraine into the union, but on a "strategic partnership" with Kiev, which is the only "responsible choice."
Earlier, Orban said that the new military plan of the EU and Ukraine is a declaration of war on Hungary. He clarified that, according to this plan, Kiev will be admitted to the European Union as early as 2027. "They ignore the decision of the Hungarian people and are determined to overthrow the Hungarian government by any means," he wrote.
