Among its major achievements for 2015, the company was named for the third straight year to the Dow Jones North America Sustainability Index and was included in the 2016 RobecoSAM Sustainability Yearbook, where it was elevated to silver class distinction. IHS also continued its focus on rigorous corporate governance, building a sustainable supply chain and growing its suite of benefits that help attract and develop world-class talent.

“IHS has moved ahead quickly in our corporate sustainability journey ever since 2012, the year we formally included sustainability as one of five company goals,” said Jerre Stead, IHS Chairman and CEO. “We are extraordinarily proud of the great progress that IHS made and the increased recognition that we earned in 2015; our commitment to sustainability continues to gain momentum in all areas of how we operate and do business. We have proactively focused on sustainability issues because we understand they play a critical role in our ability to continue advancing toward our long-term goals through an increasingly complex and evolving business landscape,” Stead said.

“At IHS, corporate sustainability is fully integrated into our daily culture,” said Jane Okun Bomba, senior vice president, marketing and chief sustainability and communications officer for IHS. “We embed sustainability practices and metrics into every aspect of our business and the solutions we provide to our customers. Over the years, we’ve found this practice to be a key element of our success.”
