OREANDA-NEWS  By the beginning of the seventh month of 2025, the average six-month deposit rate in the top 20 largest banks in terms of deposits had dropped to 17.96 percent per annum. This was shown by a study conducted by the Finuslugi marketplace.

It is noted that the last time the yield on such deposits fell below the level of 18 percent was in September last year. Currently, the average deposit rate for three months is 18.66 percent, and for a year it is 17.07 percent. The average rate for semi—annual deposits fell the most over the year — by 3.93 percentage points, for an annual deposit — by 3.88 percentage points, and for a three-month deposit - by 2.87 percentage points.

Today, the maximum deposit rate without special conditions in one of the banks of the top twenty is 20.5 percent on a three-month deposit. It is 19 percent for the semi—annual contribution, and 19.5 percent for the annual contribution.

According to the Bank of Russia, the average maximum deposit rate for ten banks of the Russian Federation, which attract the largest volume of deposits from individuals in rubles, decreased by 0.47 percentage points in the second decade of June, to 18.4 percent per annum.
