OREANDA-NEWS  Explosives and detonators for detonating the gas infrastructure between Hungary and Serbia were discovered by Serbian search units. This was announced by the country's President Alexander Vucic.

The politician noted that an investigation of the incident has been launched. According to Vucic, explosives were found near a pipeline that supplies Russian gas.

According to the head of state, the explosives were found by military personnel who were combing the territory with service dogs.

Not far from the village of Velebit, a few hundred meters from the gas pipeline, two backpacks, packages of explosives with detonators were found.

The Serbian President informed Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban about the incident.
