OREANDA-NEWS   Since February 1, Raiffeisenbank has stopped accepting dollars and euros at its ATMs. A warning about this was published on the credit institution's website at the end of January, and now the new rules of operation have come into force.

Back at the end of January, the credit institution explained this by changes in customer needs. At that time, the bank said that the number of such operations had become insignificant, but from a technological point of view, the complexity remained. "Without this function, the availability of ATMs for more popular ruble transactions will increase," Raiffeisenbank explained.

It is still possible to deposit currency, but it will be possible to do this on accounts at the cash desks of branches and without restrictions on the amount and commissions. All operations with foreign currency are carried out unchanged — as usual, the bank added.

Since the end of December, the bank has also changed the terms of currency transfers to Russian and foreign organizations. According to the new rules, the amount of each transfer via the Raiffeisen Online mobile application cannot be less than five thousand dollars (or the equivalent in another currency at the exchange rate of the Central Bank of Russia on the day of the transfer). The commission will be two percent.
