OREANDA-NEWS The Federal Tax Service is testing a system that will help identify the self-employed who hide their income, Vedomosti newspaper writes.
"The Federal Tax Service is testing a scoring model to identify the risks of income concealment by the self—employed," the publication says, citing Vladimir Maltsev, head of the department's operational control department.
The model searches for those who illegally cancel receipts in the My Taxes app. This, according to Maltsev, is evidenced by such signs as regular cancellations of checks for a certain period, as well as cases when a check is canceled by a self‑employed partner (for example, a bank or a digital platform).
