OREANDA-NEWS. The monthly pension, according to the respondents, should be 55.5 thousand rubles, according to Izvestia, citing a study by SberNPF.

At the moment, the average insurance pension for working pensioners is 14 thousand rubles, and for non-working - 19 thousand rubles. According to the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Russia, the average total income of working Russians is 66,000 rubles.

At the same time, in different regions of Russia, preferences differ - elderly Muscovites want to receive 83.9 thousand rubles, and the residents of Orenburg have the least wishes - only 47 thousand rubles.

Previously working pensioners have been revealed a way to increase their pension. Andrey Girinsky, Associate Professor of the Faculty of Economics of the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia, told how working Russian pensioners can increase their pensions. He explained in an interview with the Prime agency that the fixed part of the insurance pension, as well as the individual pension coefficient, have not been indexed since 2016.

“If a pensioner works, then the pension is not indexed, but upon retirement, the pensioner receives indexation. Of course, there is a (theoretically) way to get indexed as you go. To do this, you can quit and, having received indexation, go to work again, ”Girinsky suggested.

The expert added that such a scheme is difficult to implement in practice. The reason is that in Russia it is difficult for pensioners to get a job officially, especially with a good salary.

Andrey Girinsky, Associate Professor of the Faculty of Economics at RUDN University, explained that the fixed part of the insurance pension, as well as the individual pension coefficient, have not been indexed since 2016.
