OREANDA-NEWS The stablecoin will be issued by First Abu Dhabi Bank and will be fully regulated by the UAE Central Bank.

The launch of the stablecoin is a significant milestone in our efforts to enhance the UAE's digital infrastructure ecosystem, said Hassan al-Suwaidi, CEO of ADQ and UAE Minister of Investment.

The stablecoin will be built on blockchain technology developed by ADI Foundation, a technology company based in Abu Dhabi.
