OREANDA-NEWS  A friendly match between Russian and American hockey players will be held in Moscow on July 1. This was stated by the head of the American Chamber of Commerce in Russia (AmCham) Robert Agee during a speech at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, he was quoted by RIA Novosti.

Agee was pleased to host a hockey match dedicated to the 250th anniversary of the United States. "We hope that in this way we will also contribute to some kind of melting of the ice between us," he said.

The initiative comes from the American Chamber of Commerce in Russia. The Americans organized the event.

Earlier, US President Donald Trump supported the idea of Russian President Vladimir Putin to organize hockey matches between Russian and American players. The meetings are scheduled to take place in the USA and Russia.
