OREANDA-NEWS  The International Judo Federation has allowed Russians and Belarusians to compete under the auspices of the organization in a neutral status. The World Cup is about to start in Doha: from May 7 to May 14. But according to the results of the inspection, the IJF refused admission to the main start to eight Russian athletes and delegates.

It is noted that the decision was made by the IJF executive committee after an independent background check, including a check of the place of work, as well as a check of social networks for their attitude to Russia's special operation in Ukraine.

"After a thorough study of the biographical data, eight members of the delegation were denied participation. The decision was made in accordance with the rules, policies and principles of fair play of the IJF," the message reads.
