OREANDA-NEWS Krasnodar announced on its official website the appointment of Vladimir Ivich as head coach. The Serbian specialist, who previously worked at Maccabi Tel Aviv, signed a two-year contract with the Bulls.

Ivich's assistants at Krasnodar will be Milos Veselinovich and Sinisha Gogic, and Christos Kelpekis will be the goalkeeping coach.

Earlier there was information that the management of the bulls was not satisfied with the last mentor of the team, Alexander Storozhuk. According to media reports, Krasnodar is ready to pay Ivich about € 1.5 million a year. The Israeli side will receive compensation in the amount of € 500 thousand. Ivich can start working with Krasnodar after January 5.

Recall that the club from Krasnodar scored 25 points in the first 17 rounds of the RPL and takes eighth place in the standings before the winter break. In the Russian Cup, Krasnodar was able to take first place in Group A and reach the top bracket of the playoffs of the tournament.
