"The player joined the Grozny club as a free agent until the end of the current season," the statement said.

28-year-old Zhemaletdinov previously played for the Moscow teams Lokomotiv and CSKA, as well as for Kazan Rubin. In 275 matches in various tournaments, he scored 41 goals and provided 32 assists. He has played 9 matches for the Russian national team.
