Rostov beat CSKA in the Russian Football Cup

OREANDA-NEWS Rostov's players defeated CSKA 2-0 in the third round of the Russian Cup RPL.
The meeting took place in Rostov-on-Don.
The goals were scored by Imran Aznaurov (75th minute) and Danila Prokhin (85th minute).
Rostov leads in Group D with 9 points, followed by Akron (5), CSKA and Lokomotiv (2 each).
The top three teams from each of the four groups advance to the playoffs. The former will continue to play in the RPL playoffs; the third-placed teams will drop into the bottom bracket, the Path of the Regions.
The current Russian Cup winner is Spartak.
