OREANDA-NEWS  The International Field Hockey Federation (FIH) has allowed Russian athletes and teams to compete under its auspices without restrictions. This was announced by the Minister of Sports, the head of the ROC Mikhail Degtyarev.

"Restrictions on the use of the Russian flag, anthem and symbols, as well as on the holding of FIH events and competitions in Russia have been lifted," Degtyarev wrote on his channel in the Max messenger.

Earlier, the IOC recommended that international sports organizations lift sanctions against Russians.

FIH suspended Russians from international competitions in early 2022. In February 2026, she allowed Russian athletes to participate in international tournaments.
