OREANDA-NEWS  The explosion occurred in Chernihiv in northern Ukraine amid an air raid alert, the Ukrainian Public television channel reported.

As of 00.10 Moscow time on Saturday, an air alert has been declared in Chernihiv and several other regions of Ukraine.

"An explosion was heard in Chernihiv," reads a message posted on the Telegram channel of the Public.
